NCsoft® at PAX Prime 2010 Activities

NCsoft® will feature two great games for play on the exhibit floor at PAX Prime 2010: Aion®: Assault on Balaurea™ and Guild Wars 2™. Play the soon-to-be-released Aion: Assault on Balaurea content at booth #542, and at the same time, meet the team who can answer your questions about the game. Swing by the ArenaNet booth #642 to meet Guild Wars 2 developers and artists, win awesome prizes, and get your hands on the North American premiere of the playable Guild Wars 2 demo! Both Aion and Guild Wars 2 will be running on hardware from our 2010 event partners: Alienware (PCs) and Razer (peripherals).

If you’re interested in free swag, the Aion team will be giving out a lot of it during PAX. Visit the booth to find out how to win one of two custom Aion modded PC cases sponsored by Antec and NCsoft. You can also pick up an Aion game trial or score a can of Tutty ’N’ Beans or a t-shirt. We’ll even have life-sized Asmodian wings in place so you can see how you look photographed as a Daeva.

PAX attendees can play the incredible Guild Wars 2 demo all weekend, and ArenaNet staffers will present demonstrations on stage as well. The ArenaNet community team will be hosting a variety of activities at the booth, including trivia quizzes and games. They’ll also be dipping into a prize bag full of gamer hardware from our partners to hand out to winners, such as graphics cards from nVidia and peripherals from Razer, so stop by and say “Hi!"

Looking for even more information about your favorite NCsoft games? City of Heroes Going Rogue™, Aion, and Guild Wars 2 each have panel sessions at PAX Prime 2010. For those interested in MMO design, make sure to get your pass to attend the limited panel, "Guild Wars 2: Designing Dynamic Events." Talk to the friendly folks at booth #642 to learn how to get your pass! Aion panel attendees will be treated to details about the game’s latest developments from Lead Game Designer Jiliang Kim, Lead Developer of Aion Client Team Hyungsuk Kang, and members of the North American team. Catch up with City of Heroes at the "City of Heroes Going Rogue and Beyond!" panel to find out about the newly released expansion and learn about the next major advances for the game.
